Job Title: .NET Software Developer.
Location: Commutable from Swansea, Llanelli, Carmarthen, Neath, Port Talbot, Bridgend and Cardiff.
Start Date: March/April 2012.
Salary: c.£20-25,000 per annum, negotiable dependent upon experience.
We are currently working alongside a highly successful and growing company in South Wales, whose primary business is the development of business systems and bespoke software/web applications for a broad range of customers throughout the UK. As part of their ongoing growth and success, we are currently working on their behalf in seeking an enthusiastic .NET Software Developer to join their team.
Within this role, you will enjoy complex development activities within a cutting-edge development environment, which will include C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server. The successful applicant for this opportunity must have an abundance of enthusiasm and drive to succeed within an already successful Development team. You will have responsibility for producing and delivering a high standard of code to meet project requirements and have the ability to work successfully throughout the project lifecycle.
Within this role, we anticipate that you will be responsible for the following tasks and activities:
*developing complex software and web-based applications within exciting cutting-edge projects.
*developing a variety of applications using OOP best practices.
*producing and delivering code for projects to the highest standards.
Ideally, we would anticipate that the successful applicant will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:
*solid knowledge and experience of web-based software development and technologies.
*strong knowledge and commercial experience with C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server.
*exposure to Agile(SCRUM) methodology or Mocking framework could prove highly beneficial.
*any experience of the following technologies could also prove beneficial: XML, HTML, Ajax, Javascript, Web Services and MVC.
